Anger Management
Compadre Therapy's anger management program offers individual and group therapy options, providing a flexible, supportive approach tailored to each patient's needs. Our evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Approaches, help patients understand their anger, recognize triggers, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Guided by the NASW Code of Ethics and inspired by Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we believe in each person's emotional well-being and self-control.
In individual therapy, patients receive one-on-one attention in a confidential setting where they can safely explore the roots of their anger, identify patterns, and practice skills to manage emotions. For those who benefit from shared experiences, our group therapy sessions provide a support community where participants learn from one another, practice new strategies, and develop empathy. In the spirit of being a "compadre" and a trusted" companion—our therapists guide individual and group sessions with compassion and respect, fostering a path toward personal growth, resilience, and lasting change.
